Our overworked and grossly underpaid Code Warrior staff (of one) had an exciting morning this morning working on ways to automatically correct certain kinds of spelling mistakes made by players who've learned English phonetically AND are using screen readers.

Consider this being read to you: "The room contains a large sign".

Well, "sign" is quirky English spelling, and it'll sound like "sine" when read by the reader. So you type "look at the sine", reasonably enough, only for the game to respond "If only there were a 'sine' here for you to look at.' Wait, what? Now you're deeply confused, because you were just told there's a "large sine" there.

We think we can solve much or perhaps a lot of this with modern tech. It's promising. We'll see.

Implemented! Seemingly working well. Beginning with 1.197.0.0 a new AI processing layer searches the player's current Room for sound-alike objects whenever the player types an attempted keyword which can't be found with the spelling the player used. "read the sine" becomes "read the sign", and so on. Very cool.
